This land was once covered by kiwifruit orchards which have made way for the town’s rapid growth.
The open air, drive-through design of the centre - separate from Bethlehem's main shopping village - means you can often park close to the shop you want to visit, a rare thing in these congested times. The stores range from big chains like Smith’s City and Hammer Hardware, and Wild South lifestyle clothing, to boutique clothing shops such as women’s clothing store Heaven, and gift store Options Living.
There's a range of eateries, from the Coffee Club to Thai Palace Restaurant, and Noodle Canteen. One of the district’s biggest Countdown supermarkets is part of the estate. You’ll find travel agents, pharmacies, opticians, bookshops and a lot more.
