A modern hostel in a leafy setting, within walking distance of downtown Tauranga but far enough away for a bit more peace and quiet.

The hostel is next to the Waikareao Estuary (see Walkways). It is clean and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, individually heated bedrooms and good hot showers, plus free fresh herbs from the garden.

Other freebies include video movies, towels, volleyball and badminton —and off-street parking.
