A visit to this candle store is something of an all-senses affair, as the subtle aroma of scented candles draws you inside. Visitors will swiftly realise this not just another gift store, but the Bay of Plenty's only serious candle shop, ‘dedicated to the diversity of candles and candle uses.’
As such, you’ll find everything from traditional wax-based candles, to those made from environmentally-friendly natural waxes such as palm oil and soy. Around 90% are ‘made in Tauranga’ as Steven and Nicola Farrant are manufacturers too. The Farrants stock everything to do with candles – including candleholders in glass, crystal, and metal.
They also stock candelabras, scented melts, oil burners, and a variety of candle accessories, including decorative matches, candle snuffers and wick trimmers. Great gift buying – or do your own home a favour. Open 9am to 5 pm Mon to Fri, 9.30 am to 4 pm Saturdays.
