This world-class clay target shooting course in the hills near Te Puke is a very different and challenging day out, that’ll test your hand-eye co-ordination, and other skills. The course – New Zealand’s biggest - meanders across rolling bush country, with 36 different shooting stations.
At each one, fast-moving clay targets hurtle out of the undergrowth, simulating different wild game – including pheasants, rabbits and ducks. The world champion has called it the ‘best sporting clays range in the Southern Hemisphere.’ Huntin’ or shootin’ experience is not necessary, as owner Kim Kenny provides superb, patient coaching. (Not just for blokes – he says women often do better than men)
