12m Villa Project for Fantail Lodge
Plans have been unveiled for a $12 million development at Fantail Lodge in the Kaimais. The project involves the construction of ten new villas as a private village, in a park-like setting facing the ranges, a short distance from the main country lodge. Owner Harrie Geraerts says they they won't be creating another glossy hotel complex. But the villas will have features like the latest in fibre optics. The villas will cater for conferences, weddings and romantic getaways for couples. The project, the biggest tourist development since the Sebel Trinity Wharf Hotel was built, is expected to be completed by about June this year. Photo courtesy Fantail Lodge
Rips Keep Guards on Go

The guards also spent some time treating people for cut feet.
