‘Voila!’ Chef-owner Maurice Mourali gives everything a smiling Gaelic flourish, even seating guests. Hailing from Toulouse in Southern France, he was a 2-star Michelin-rated chef. He has a created a little piece of France in downtown Tauranga, describing his restaurant as a ‘French cuisine rendezvous.’
The restaurant run by him and his wife Maureen serves dishes like the traditional coq au vin, and superb Marseille-style bouillabaisse with three different fish fillets and king prawns. Licensed with French and Kiwi wines, including Veuve Clicquot bubbly.
